In general, the cause of these can vary heavily and this may not fix it immediately. Further instructions are linked if this is the case. If you are receiving an Unhandled connection error: Error: Connection timed out error or any similar timeout errors (except for etimeout) every time you join localhost, try the following steps in order:
1
Delete all of your Lilith files. If you don’t know how to locate them, here is a guide: Enter your home directory, either ~/ or C:\Users\yourName, then delete the folder marked lilith
2
Restart your computer.
3
Reinstall the launcher and run it.
If this doesn’t work, repeat the steps and install the IPv4 launcher when you get to Step 3. If that doesn’t work, then run /lresetauth in the black void when you join localhost. Follow any steps the launcher gives you, reverify, and see if it works. Some people have had to run this command upon every Lilith launch, although this is a rare case. If that doesn’t work, or you cannot make it into the black void, then please wait a few days. If the issue still persists, then please make a ticket in our Discord.
